Findlater's do it again in 2009! UK Great Taste Awards Official Site - Findlater's Gold Award 2009 (Select Class 25D)

Our Second Gold Award from the Great Taste Awards was for another of our vegetarian products - Dunsyre & Pressed Pear Pate, another combination using Humphrey's wonderful cheese! This Pate is such a versatile product that many of our customers have come back to us with many different ways to use it, here are just a few below:-

"A big favourite is with Raspberries, Strawberries and with just about every forest fruit you can think of. It's a great refreshing way to finish off a meal instead of a cheese platter or even along with it!"

"On a Bagel with Parma Ham, the combination of cheese, pear and ham is a classic!"

"Baked inside Fresh Trout, one of my particular favourites, I never go fishing without a tub of this pate in my cool box! (and a bottle of Jim Beam Black of course)."

A customer who purchased our Dunsyre Pate at the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate came back next day to tell me of a new use for this product, they  were about to have Apple Crumble for dessert and had forgotten the double cream, so they tried our Dunsyre Pate instead and found it to be an amazing combination! I try it out that night back at my hotel and what a taste sensation!
